This Appendix provides competition-specific information for use by
Clubs, Teams and Team Officials. This Appendix is a formal part of the
Competition Rules and as such breaches may incur sanctions in accordance with
the Competition Rules.
7aside competition format will be conducted under FIFA
and FICA 7aside Rules of Competition as amended from time to time with following
additional rule changes.
LAW 11, Off-side - the Off-side rule
does not apply.
LAW 12, Fouls and Misconduct - a
player committing a Yellow card offence will be sent off the field of play for
five (5) minutes.
The goalkeeper - when picking the
ball up in the goal area (semi circle) must then throw or roll the ball onto the
field of play. The goalkeeper may only kick the ball from the ground – drop
kicks are not permitted.
Goal kicks can be taken from anywhere
within the goal area, the ball must be either stationary or almost at rest when
the kick is taken.

Interchange and
Substitutions

Interchange or substitution may
only take place from the halfway line. There will be no stoppage of time for
interchanges. Interchanges may be made at any time – excluding at the end of
extra time during a finals series.
